Spectrum is an exploration of the creative process. The project consists of 7 soundscapes and 7 line drawings and is to be exhibited in London in April 2014.

Each soundscape was inspired by a colour in the visible spectrum. I then proceeded to translate each of the compositions into drawings, by listening back to each piece as I drew. My intention was to visually represent the respective sounds and emotions that were triggered by each colour.

During the exhibition each drawing will come with a unique QR code, so that when scanned by a smart phone the viewer will be taken to a Soundcloud page that plays the respective composition.

Spectrum invites the viewer to this translation of my audible work into visual material to engage both the optical and auditive senses.
