I am a freelance creative senior front-end developer based in London. I like writing code and making sounds.
My go-to programming language is PHP and I specialise in building WordPress and Shopify websites from the ground up. My skill set also includes HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, C#, Gulp.js and BEM methodology, among others (read on for the full list).
In short, I code, sometimes design, and also make ambient and electronic music as well as taking field recordings of my surroundings.
I have been coding for over 15 years. I hold a BA Degree in Fine Art and studied Typography at University of the Arts London, Central Saint Martins.
Since leaving full-time employment and setting up my limited company in May 2014, I have worked on a variety of contracts as a front-end developer (and sometimes full-stack developer).
As well as my development work, I enjoy creating ambient and electronic music. I have exhibited my sound work in London and regularly contribute to the Cities and Memory project.
I like designing and building digital things, making music, playing cricket, attempting to learn to speak French, drinking coffee, watching John Carpenter films, reading, and riding my bicycle. I believe Kurt Russell to be the best.
